About
The company is being built by an educator, not around a tutor marketplace template.

Paul Devine
Science educator, school leader and education-improvement specialist.
Paul trained in Science Education at Dublin City University and began his qualified teaching career in Málaga. His work then moved through classroom teaching, department leadership, assessment, senior school leadership and system-wide school improvement across Spain, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates.
As Head of Science he led a department of ten staff. Later roles covered school assessment, teaching and learning, staff development, student wellbeing, behaviour, attendance and quality assurance. As Group Head of School Improvement, his remit extended across an 11-school group and included school review, improvement planning, policy, accreditation and professional development.
That background is the reason the platform is being designed as a managed education service. A tutor should not simply appear on a website and sell time. There should be a clear standard for recruitment, teaching, safeguarding, lesson records, progress and accountability.
Teaching first
Technology is useful only when it makes teaching clearer, access easier or progress more visible.
Managed quality
Tutor quality should be owned by the company, not outsourced to star ratings and customer guesswork.
